The VBL Charity Foundation had a successful year of fundraising efforts and provided $22,775.00 in funding to support ten of our charity partners.
The National Aphasia Association is an organization dedicated to advocating for persons with aphasia with a goal of providing access to research, education, rehabilitation, therapeutic, and advocacy services to individuals with aphasia and their caregivers. VBL donated $3,175.00.
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people by building a safer, more-inclusive world. Services include advocacy, public education, peer support, crisis services and research. VBL donated $1,415.00.
The World Central Kitchen is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises by building resilient food systems with locally led solutions. This fundraiser was in support of the humanitarian relief needed in Ukraine. VBL donated $2,250.00.
The Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund was established to assist those impacted by the floods and severe weather systems to help with funeral expenses, home repairs, and general assistance to families in need. VBL donated $4,000.00
The Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun provides financial support to individual programs throughout Loudoun County committed to providing weekend food for students in need. Funding is distributed to partners for purchase of meals, snacks, and milk for children who would otherwise go hungry at home. VBL donated $1,855.00.
The WBS Charity Foundation's mission is to unify people to raise awareness and funding for charitable organizations across the country by providing resources for veteran and cancer outreach programs. VBL donated $1,660.00.
The Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation's goal is to establish the end of breast cancer as a state and national priority, to advocate for the collective needs of people affected by breast cancer, and educate all on the facts about breast cancer. VBL donated $1,940.00.
The Homeless Animal Rescue Team is a no-kill animal rescue and support group who take in and rehome abused and unwanted dogs and cats. The organization seeks to direct resources where they are most needed to alleviate or prevent suffering wherever it is found. VBL donated $2,200.00.
Loudoun Hunger Relief supplies tens of thousands of pounds of emergency preparedness food. LHR continues to provide regular food distributions of fresh and nutritious groceries and rescued foods to address the hunger problems of a growing community with rapidly growing needs. VBL raised $1,280.00.
The Loudoun Chorale is a community-based arts organization which was created to respond to the needs of local performers to offer quality music presentations on a continuing basis. The Chorale does not require auditions and welcomes all who share the love of vocal music, either as performers or audience. VBL raised $3,000.00.
